Coffee Stained: EDU Podcast is a colorful, energized space where the material is unedited so you can truly hear and experience my honesty, authenticity, and most importantly, my passion. You will take a trip with me during each episode; a walk through my journey as an educator and school leader. My goal is to provide support, guidance, and advice on things you might experience at work. As an educator, mother, and school leader I know how time-consuming the day-to-day responsibilities can be so I created this podcast with that in mind. Each episode is 25 minutes or less so you can listen on your way to work, while you take a shower, while you work out, etc.  Additionally, the goal for Coffee Stained: EDU Podcast is for listeners to take something away from every episode, therefore, the show ends with a recap of points discussed and a goal I challenge you to achieve.  

About the Host

My name is Geneva Rodriguez and I am an Assistant Principal at an Elementary School in Brooklyn, New York. I am a mom of two amazing boys and I have two cats! (One shy of being an official cat lady!) Before becoming an Assistant Principal I was a Special Education teacher. As I attended courses to obtain my school leadership certification, not to mention all of this taking place during a pandemic I created and hosted a virtual Teacher Boot Camp and a digital portfolio workshop for educators and aspiring school leaders.  Additionally, I assisted in creating and publishing a Substitute Teacher Handbook.  All this content can be found at my link tree account below.

I love what I do and my goal is for my passion to be sprinkled in every episode. I gain so much pleasure and joy in sharing my knowledge, experience, and passion and I am sure you will get a sense of this joy when you tune in to Coffee Stained EDU Podcast.
